PRACTICA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (PTY) LTD is a business in the Education industry that retails The Practica Programme, a comprehensive home-based educational kit with which parents can monitor and grow a child’s development and maximise his or her potential with fun and games from birth to 7 years of age.
2. Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3 weeks and delivery confirmed by way of email using delivery details supplied and confirmed (confirmation email to the customer) at the time of purchase.
It usually takes between 2 – 3 weeks for your set to arrive. It does sometimes happen that our suppliers keep us waiting on certain elements of the set. We do make a point of notifying clients if this happens.
We do not charge for delivery of sets within the Gauteng area. Alternatively, a fee of R300 (courier) will be charged for any deliveries within South Africa.

4. Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by PRACTICA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (PTY) LTD is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, PRACTICA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (PTY) LTD will refund the client in full within 30 days.
Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 10% administration fee.
If you would like to return your set for a refund, please contact Practica within 7 days of receiving the set to initiate the refund process. Refunds can only be processed if the set and all elements (games/ toys / writing material etc…) within the set are in their original UNOPENED packaging.
We reserve the right to charge a 10% (of the purchase price) administration fee for processing the refund. In addition, courier charges will be added for the pickup and return of the set.
A refund will only be processed once the returned set is inspected by Practica and deemed to be in the original condition delivered (set box and elements packaged within the set).
5. Customer Privacy Policy
PRACTICA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (PTY) LTD shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:www.polity.org.za
6. Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard or by bank transfer into the PRACTICA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (PTY) LTD bank account, the details of which are available in the FAQ section and part of the email confirmation sent to a customer, as well as provided on request.
7. Credit card acquiring and security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for PRACTICA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (PTY) LTD via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks.

8. Customer details separate from card details

9. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
10. Responsibility
PRACTICA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (PTY) LTD takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

SALE Terms and Conditions
1. The sale agreement is subject to approval by Practica Development Programme Pty (Ltd) and a legal binding agreement will only come in force and effect after electronic acceptance of the terms and conditions in this document.
2. The purchaser confirms that s/he is fully acquainted with the type, nature and content of the programme, and that s/he is also acquainted with the contents hereof and that s/he agrees to the conditions of this agreement.
3. This is the only agreement between the parties and no other agreement, amendment or cancellation hereof shall be of any force or effect unless reduced to writing and signed by both parties hereto.
4. Should any of the items upon delivery thereof to the purchaser be found to be defective or damaged, the seller undertakes to replace these items free of charge provided the purchaser has notified the seller in writing thereof, sent by prepaid registered post within five (5) business days of delivery of the goods, addressed to the seller’s head office, provided full and precise details of any such defective or damaged items.
5. Upon acceptance of this agreement by the seller, delivery shall be effected as soon as reasonably possible thereafter. The manner in which delivery shall be effected falls within the sole discretion of the seller. Notwithstanding any dates indicated for delivery, it is specifically ordered that failure by the seller to delivery by any dates that may have been indicated shall not constitute grounds for the cancellation of this agreement, and the only obligation resting upon the seller is to effect delivery within a reasonable period.
6. Refusal by the purchaser to accept delivery of the goods when delivery is tendered shall in no way relieve the purchaser of responsibility in terms of this agreement.
7. The purchaser chooses as his/her domicilium a citandi et executandi the address as per the completed electronic form. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to notify the seller of any change in the purchaser’s domicilium within seven (7) days of changing thereof. Failure on the part of the purchaser to do so may result in the seller having to incur costs to trace the purchaser, which shall render the purchaser liable for any such expenses.
8. It is specifically agreed that the goods shall remain the property of the seller until the full purchase price payable in terms of the agreement has been paid in full.
9. Practica Development Programme Pty (Ltd) shall provide as and by way of an information service, the service of a therapist registered with the SA Medical and Dental Council; duly qualified and authorised to perform the following tests during office hours by appointment, to attend the reasonable enquiries of the purchaser relating to the Practica Programme and matters relative thereto, to facilitate the effect of usage of the programme by the capital purchaser, and subject further to the following specific conditions:
a) The service shall be free of charge to all the capital purchaser’s natural (or adopted) children, whether they are already born (or adopted) or whether they are still to be born (or to be adopted);
b) The service shall be available to the purchaser’s aforesaid children from the date of conclusion of this agreement or in the case of adopted children, from the date of adoption until such time as the children commence their compulsory school education;
c) The service shall be of an advisory nature, and includes one therapy session of maximum (40) forty minutes;
d) Upon request an informal evaluation shall be made of the purchaser’s aforesaid children, to determine the children’s strengths and or weaknesses during intervals of not shorter than (3) three months at a time;
e) The service shall also include:
i) Advice on how to make optimal use of The Practica Programme
ii) Information and advice regarding the developmental stages of the purchaser’s aforesaid children including such aspects such as discipline, fears, social adaption and parental guidance,
iii) School aptitude tests from the time that each child turns five years. These school aptitude tests will only be arranged and conducted in South Africa;
iv) Telephonic enquiries during office hours
10. Practica Development Programme Pty (Ltd) and the owners of The Practica Programme or any of its agents shall not at any time be liable for any claims of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising for direct or consequential loss or damage which may be sustained by the Customer or any of the Customer’s clients in connection with the use of the Products and the Customer hereby indemnifies Practica Development Programme Pty (Ltd) and the owners of The Practica Programme and all of its agents against all such claims. *Practica, the Practica logo, The Practica Programme and all related trademarks and information are part of a licensing agreement.
